Orange Philosophy-Circles

The Orange strategy combines the light of the world, the church, as yellow, and the heart of the family, as red, into ORANGE. It is taking what the church as a community of God’s people can do, what the family is created to uniquely do, and create a collaborative system instead of a competitive one.

In an effort to bolster this collaborative effort, the ReThink Group (creators of Orange), have published curriculum for the church and created resources for the families.

Church Curriculum Offerings

First LookFirst Look

First Look is a curriculum for children from birth to age 5.

You’re a pre-schooler, and the world is bursting with newness. Each day is filled with one new discovery after another. Where did that bird come from? Look, the moon is shaped funny tonight! Who thought to color the butterfly like that?

First Look is a web-based curriculum that uses engaging activities to introduce pre-school children (ages birth to five) to God. First Look gives children a first impression of their heavenly Father and the wonder of His love for each one of them.

Thinking Orange INCITES WONDER in the heart of a preschooler.

252 Basics252 Basics

252 Basics is a curriculum for elementary children.

Elementary-age kids are in a constant state of discovery. Think about all the different things they are trying for the first time and what they’re learning every day, even how to make (and keep) friends.

How can we tap into the way kids are naturally wired to discover‚ so they can begin to experience for themselves who God is, how He sees them and how much He loves them?

How can we show them God’s big story and help them discover the active part they can play in this life-long adventure, to be more like Him?

252 BASICS curriculum and resources PROVOKE DISCOVERY, inviting kids to live out their new understanding of how to grow in relationship with God and with others.

Thinking Orange PROVOKES DISCOVERY in the heart of a child.
